When it comes to selling your home, there is generally a lot of competition. In most cases, potential home buyers will be inspecting several homes on the same day, so it is important to ensure your home stands out from the crowd. As well as the standard tasks, such as cleaning, mowing, etc. that should be carried out before an open house, here are a few ideas that are sure to make your property memorable.

Jumping Castle

Hiring a jumping castle is a great idea if you have a family home and have the space. A jumping castle will entertain the kids whilst the parents can look around. Encourage the other kids in your neighbourhood to come and have some fun and create a real sense of community.

Photo Booth

Not only are photo booths great fun, but they can be extremely practical as well. Everybody loves a photo booth, and with print customisation available, you can include details of your home at the bottom of every print. At the end of the day, all of the potential buyers will have left with your properties details in their pockets. You should be able to find a cheap photo booth package, as there will be lots of availability with local companies during the day.

Red Carpet

When you sell your house, there will be big money involved. To help your house stand out, why not do something a little quirky, like rolling out a red carpet. Red carpets can be hired from a range of different suppliers, or alternatively you can buy a cheap mini red carpet from Ikea.

DJ or Live Band

When you live in a home, it is rarely quiet, so why is there never any noise during an inspection. Some background music provided by a DJ or live band will enable visitors to get a true feeling of your home. Potential home owners will be able to speak amongst themselves without feeling as though everyone around can hear their every word.
