We are coming into the hot spring and summer real estate market here in Michigan.  We usually have a bigger inventory of homes for sale and a bigger number of home buyers out looking to find a home.  Is it surprising that home buyers do not want to go out in the cold to look at houses in the winter in Michigan?  Especially lake properties in Oakland County

The goal of every real estate agent is to help you find a home.  Yes, there are real estate agents that just want to sell you any home.  They don't want to take the time to learn what you want or have the patience to take out more than a few times to find your dream home.  And yes, there are some that make buyers wait 3 or more days to take you out to see a home.  Yes, I have even heard of agents takinng a week to get back to buyers to take them out.  However most real estate agents have your best interest in mind and want to help you find the home you want.  They want you to like the house and buy it at a price you can afford.

As a Michigan realtor I feel that the more educated the buyer is the better they will be at making a decision.   After all it is not about making the decisions for you.  It is about me as your realtor providing you with the good information to make a smart informed decision.  You deciding on whether the house is financially right for you and your family.

However real estate is no different than other fields of business.  You are very knowledgeable about your business and could teach me a thing or two about the field you are in.  It is the same way with me as your real estate agent.  Things you may not think about need to be explained.  Here is a quick video on 4 big Michigan home buyer tips.
