10 Reasons You Should Move to Park City This Year

Park City is already known as one of the world’s most favorite resort towns; however, we’re here today to convince you that it’s actually a great place to set down permanent roots, be they residential or business. Many people love Park City for all the cool celebrity preferences and unmatched amenities, but when you actually stick around you may be surprised to find that Park City can be the perfect place for you. Trust us - we’ve got 10 reasons why:

  1. Those Mountains. Even if you aren’t the “outdoorsy” type, pretty much everyone can agree that the stunning backdrops of the Wasatch Back can make anyone stop and stare. If you ARE the outdoorsy type, those mountains provide much more than just backdrop. Skiing, hiking, biking, ziplining, and the list goes on and on.
  2. Luxury. There’s a reason all the celebrities love to come to Park City - the luxe life is here. From high class resorts to world class dining, you can find incredible places to live large or just relax.
  3. Famous Ski Resorts. Park City is home to thousands of well-groomed ski trails in three major ski resorts (and other smaller options). Park City Mountain, Canyons, and Deer Valley are just some of the world renowned ski resorts available for skiers and boarders alike.
  4. Weather. Have we mentioned that those famous ski resorts are famous because of the “Greatest Snow On Earth?” Well winter brings that incredible snow, spring brings hills and valleys of greenery, summer brings warmth but breezier temperatures than the valley, and fall can offer some of the most incredible foliage this side of the Mississippi. Park City is amazing year round.
  5. Olympic Park. Few cities can boast of the amazing facilities and attractions offered by an Olympic Park, and ours is definitely something to see. It offers year-round fun and a variety of events.
  6. Location. Just half an hour away from Salt Lake City, Park City is close to the airport and everything else you need, but tucked away to feel more country and secluded than big city life.
  7. Small Town Feels. Sure, Park City is international in most respects, but if you venture beyond Main Street or the Sundance rush you will find small, tight communities and a plethora of local businesses.
  8. Diversity. People from all over the world visit and live in Park City, bringing a diversity of culture, religion, experience, and age that allows for constant learning and connection.
  9. Schools. Few people consider Park City as a family-friendly or kid-centric city, but more people should. Park City has a variety of highly ranked schools, academically and athletically, as well as preschools and extracurricular options.
  10. Country AND City. In less than 5 minutes you can pass world-class shopping districts and find yourself surrounded by gorgeous mountains. You can go from the slopes to the spa to a five star restaurant in an afternoon. It’s a pretty amazing combination that’s tough to find elsewhere.

If you find yourself ready to make Park City your home sweet home, we are ready to help. Don't forget to pack your skis!
