Running alongside the park is the Hicks Canyon Trail. While the trail isn’t exactly an escape from the city, it is a beautiful shady trail great for biking with 2 separate lanes and a gravel bath perfect for walking with your dog. Very safe and well lit, ideal for joggers, bikers and residents looking for a quiet stroll past eucalyptus trees and strawberry fields.
• Lower Peter’s Canyon Park. Just outside of the community limits is Lower Peter's Canyon Park. The park includes a play area, soccer field, softball field, 8 tennis courts, BBQs and picnic tables.

Northpark Plaza

Northpark Plaza is the official shopping center for the community of Northpark, located on the corner of Irvine Boulevard and Culver Drive. The center has a grocery store, several quick service restaurants, spa, cleaners, banks and more local necessities.

Tustin District

Just down Irvine Boulevard is the Tustin District shopping center. The District is a much larger shopping area, serving the communities of Irvine and Tustin. Set up with a central grouping of small shops, restaurants and the movie theater known as The District Promenade, the center is then surrounded by larger retail shops including Costco, T.J. Maxx and Target. On the other end of Irvine is the Irvine Specturm mall with more shops, restaurants and entertainment.
