Marketing and Physics in Cahoots

Science has never been a strong suit of study, so this short TED video was intriguing. How would you use marketing and physics in the same sentence?
Dan Cobly, Marketing Director at Google, presents an entertainingly strong case to consider for the application of some principals of physics being applied to a marketing strategy.

Take the principal that the larger the mass the more energy needed to create change. Thus, large companies with many products keep their branding separate for each product.

For Realtors, we know we shouldn't attempt to be a jack of all trades; it's impossible to harness and we burn out. If we simplify and niche market,  we need less energy to market effectively.

Take a quick peek at this entertaining and thoughtful video and let me know what you think. After all, the speaker certainly has impressive credentials!
