About OC Great Park

The OC Great Park community in Irvine is located on what used to be the Marine Corps Air Station El Toro. Back in December of 2013 the city voted to allow FivePoints real estate development and Management Company to build 688 acres of amenities at the Great Park in exchange for the opportunity to build an additional 4,606 residential properties in the Great Park Neighborhoods.

Pavilion Park is the first of the Great Park Neighborhoods to be built and is located at the northern edge of the Orange County Great Park. The neighborhood’s architecture is inspired by classic American Heritage designs and geared toward meeting the needs of today’s multigenerational families. The community offers 10 different home models, all single-family residences, for a wide variety of options.

Yep you guessed it, these neighborhoods are all located right next to the Orange County Great Park. The Great Park spans a total of 1,347 acres and includes amenities such as the Great Park Carousel, Farmer’s Market and Picnic Area, Palm Courts Art Complex, and Kids Rock Playground– an interactive and educational eco-friendly playground. However, the park is probably best known for the giant orange hot air balloon which can take you up 400 feet in the air with amazing panoramic views of up to 40 miles on a clear day.

You can also stop by the visitor’s center and borrow some free sport equipment to use on any of the ample open lawn areas at the park. Currently every Sunday from 10am to 2pm you can also visit the Farmer’s Market to stock up on fresh fruits, veggies, breads, plants and other treasures from local artisans.

Pavilion Park includes a swimming pool and spa, sport courts and a playground for children. The community was also built with walkability and bikability in mind with several paths running through the neighborhoods to keep residents active, healthy, and connected to one another.

Woodbury Town Center offers everything residents need for everyday use. The shopping area has 2 grocery stores: Ralph’s and Trader Joe’s, a Walgreens, LA Fitness gym, several quick service restaurants, a wide array of banks, Staples, Home Depot and of course a few places to grab a sweet treat like Casey’s Cupcakes or Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt.
