Nanuet is located in Clarkstown, Rockland County New York. It is approximately 33 miles North of New York City, just North of the New Jersey border. In addition to the Palisades Mall, there is the Nanuet Mall that has been improved in recent years and has upscale outdoor shopping. Along Route 59, the major road in Rockland County, you will also find many stripe malls and big box stores in Nanuet.
Nanuet is more than just shopping though. Nanuet Lake Park, with a large pool that is designed to look like a lake, with fun slides, is a popular spot for the summer.
