Green Valley South
Green Valley South is the area surrounding The Grand Legacy Golf Course. This gives many of the residents amazing golf course views from their own backyards. Green Valley South is cut off from the rest of Green Valley with the Pittman Wash to the east and the north. The 215 freeway cuts off the south end of Green Valley South and the west side borders Railroad Lake and Cornerstone Park. The two parks located inside of Green Valley South is Mountain View Park and Pecos Legacy Park or Legacy West Park. The latter borders Pittman Wash, has 2 baseball diamonds, and a lit basketball court, a covered play structure, and two tennis courts. Mountain View Park also has similar features, only is smaller and has 1 baseball diamond instead of two.

The median home value in Green Valley South is just over $230,000. This value has risen almost 10% in 2015. Though the market is expected to slow down in this area, experts expect home prices to rise 6% in 2016. Green Valley South, along with most of Las Vegas, saw its lowest prices in 2011 and 2012. The lowest average home price in 2012 reached down to $135,000. The foreclosure rate in Green Valley South hit its high in 2011 and was a major contributing factor to the average house price dropping so low in 2012.
