It is important to take the time and carefully prepare your home for the local market so it will sell fast and for more money. There is a lot that goes into getting a home ready to sell.

Listing your home below market value by 5-10% may not sound like a sure way to sell your home for more, but this can be highly effective! Drive in more buyers and create an urgency to active buyers who know the market. Doing so, can increase the odds of countless showings and hopefully a bidding war of multiple offers.
2. Brighten Up the Home
When listing a home for sale in Louisville, we always recommend to our clients to make sure they bring in as much light as possible. Clean the inside and outside of all the windows and always open up all blinds before any showing. Also, make sure there are no burnt out light bulbs.
3 Declutter & Depersonalize
Take down portraits/picture frames, trophies, awards and pack them away. Also, go through closets and start packing clothes that are out of season. It is a good idea to get at least half of your belongings out of the closets so there is not any clutter.
