Brett Caviness, an affiliated agent in its Menlo Park office, has been named a finalist of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and REALTOR® Magazine’s 30 Under 30 program. Caviness is one of 50 finalists selected from hundreds of applicants from across the country.

Caviness has served buyers and sellers as a real estate professional since 2009. He was the 2016 recipient of the Silicon Valley Association of Realtor’s president’s award. He received his bachelor of arts degree in communication studies from the University of Northern Iowa.

“Brett’s tenacity, persistence and attention to detail are some of the many attributes that help him stand out from the crowd. We are ecstatic that he is receiving much deserved national recognition,” said Chris Isaacson, manager of the Menlo Park and Woodside offices.

The NAR staff and editors from REALTOR® Magazine look for candidates who are successful in the real estate business and “have demonstrated skill, creativity and leadership in their careers.”

REALTOR® Magazine selected 50 professionals as finalists from all parts of the country, representing every type of real estate. Judges will select 29 honorees from the field of finalists. The last spot will be selected by online votes on the magazine’s website. Voting will be open to the public on Saturday, March 16 and will close at 12:00 p.m. Central time (CST) on Friday, March 23. The finalist who collects the most votes is guaranteed a spot among this year’s 30 Under 30 and will be named the Web Choice Award winner.

“I’m excited to be among a prestigious group of young real estate professionals to be named a finalist for this year’s 30 Under 30 class,” notes Caviness. “I will continue to put my client’s needs first and provide exceptional service to become their lifelong Realtor.”

Caviness is an active member of the Silicon Valley Association for Realtors, where he has served as a district chair and committee member of the young professional network. He is a board director for the Rotary Club of Menlo Park. He has also volunteered for several other nonprofit organizations, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula and the Chamber of Commerce Mountainview.

A full profile for Caviness, along with the entire 30 Under 30 finalists of 2018, will be available on the REALTOR® Magazine website.
