FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (Jan. 8, 2019) Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares, the philanthropic arm of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, New York, recently donated checks totaling $75,000 to 10 charities who assist residents in need throughout local communities.

Hal Maxwell, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in New Jersey and Rockland County, New York, and Dan Mancuso, regional vice president for the company and Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares chairperson, presented the checks at the annual Sales Associate Advisory Council luncheon held at the Park Avenue Club in Florham Park in December.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares donated $7,500 each to these 10 charities: The 200 Club of Union County, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Morris and Sussex counties, Children’s Aid and Family Services, Holiday Express, HomeFront, Liam’s Room, Morris Habitat for Humanity, PanCAN (Pancreatic Cancer Action Network), Table to Table, and United Hospice of Rockland.

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares raised the funds at its fourth annual charity event, the Cares Casino Royale, on Sept. 13, 2018. Hundreds of guests came out to The Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, N.J. to “play their hand, roll the dice and make a difference.” The Cares Casino Royale featured games of chance, a raffle, a silent auction, a wide selection of gift baskets, food and drink, all in support of community causes.

“We are excited to support the invaluable work that each of these organizations is providing to our community members in need,” said Maxwell. “Thank you to our Cares Casino Royale sponsors, NRT Title Agency and Guaranteed Rate Affinity; all the Coldwell Banker offices, agents and staff who donated gift baskets; organizer Dan Mancuso and our team of volunteers; and everyone who came out to make the night a success. They are all examples of how Coldwell Banker cares about our local communities.”

Since its inception in 2005, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares has given more than $1 million to charities supporting local communities, along with countless volunteer hours donated by affiliated real estate agents, managers and staff.
