COLUMBIA, SC (July 1, 2019)Matt Shealy has earned the distinguished achievement of being ranked among the Top 1,000 real estate agents and teams in the United States, as announced in the 2019 REAL Trends “The Thousand” report published in The Wall Street Journal. Shealy is affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage (CBRB) office in Columbia.

REAL Trends ranked Shealy No. 72 on the list of the Top 250 real estate agents in the U.S. based on achieving 188 closed transaction sides in 2018.

“The Thousand” ranking consists of all real estate agents and teams throughout the United States who took part in residential real estate transactions in 2018. It is divided into four Top 250 categories, separately comparing individual agents and teams based on closed transaction sides and closed sales volume. To qualify, an individual agent had to achieve or exceed 50 closed transaction sides or $20 million in closed sales volume for the prior year. A team must have attained or surpassed 75 closed transaction sides or $30 million in closed sales volume for the prior year.

In addition to “The Thousand,” Shealy was recognized for his 2018 sales achievements by being ranked No.1 by CBRB in the Carolinas for closed transaction sides, No. 7 nationally among NRT and affiliates for closed transaction sides and is a Building Industry Association (BIA) of Central South Carolina 2018 REGAL award winner for over $2 million in sales.

With approximately 15 years of experience, Shealy successfully meets the needs of homebuyers and sellers in Lexington and the surrounding areas. His specialties include first time home buyers, new construction and investor services. Shealy is also a member of National Association of REALTORS and the BIA Sales and Marketing Council of Columbia. Locally, he is an active volunteer serving Wittenberg Lutheran Church, Batesburg-Leesville Lodge No. 138138 and the Batesburg-Leesville Youth Sports League.
