The site is in URA’s Queenstown Planning region. Other developments that are in the area, includes Queens, Queens Peak, One North, the Commonwealth Towers, Ascentia Sky, and Metropolitan. It is located next to Margaret Drive, offering a complete sense of tranquillity, a luxury experience, and exclusivity for all 309 units, wich no other residential developments in Queenstown and Commonwealth can offer.

The residence has very strong transport connectivity, which includes an extensive range of shopping facilities, lucrative dining and entertainment areas, an IKEA, and the newly built Alexandra Central. The Margaret Ville is only a short drive from Holland Enclave, which is developed by the Far East Organization.

Can you imagine owning a piece of Singapore’s heritage site?

Well, you can. It is both a rare conservation region and building. By working with URA, SDB has committed to ensuring Jui Residences, an architectural and historical wonder will be placed on the maps of the past industrial district.

Located along Serangoon Road, the residential development will have excellent connectivity, providing direct access to the island through huge expressways, located just minutes away from the city.

The main road faces the development, Kallang Sungei, which sets a tranquil atmosphere and raises the potential price of the development.

The development will be made up of much smaller units ranging from one-bedroom to much larger family-sized units. Final information about the condominiums is set to be released soon, once it has been approved by government authorities.

Why Margaret Ville is Great for Investors

The freehold land is situated in district 12, just outside of the city center, setting an appealing tone for investors interested in purchasing the property. To add to its charm, it is also located right next to the Kallang River.

It also has exceptional capital growth potential, along with its neighboring development, Jui Residences, which is located in the middle of two growth districts, including Bidadari Estate, as well as Kampong Bugis.

Jui Residences will form part of the renowned heritage site, housing the National Aerated Water building. It has been a conservation effort with the purpose to allow the history of the building and site to be sustained.

The property development was designed to present a unique, lively commercial area next to one of the park connectors, right across from Kallang River. The connector links Gardens by the Bay and Bishan-Ang Mo Kio park while transforming the river into a vibrant corridor where residents can enjoy a remarkable riverside lifestyle, which supports the active mobility of outdoor activities, as well as a healthy lifestyle.

Outstanding connectivity is provided through CTE, PIE, and the Serangoon Road on the way to the Marina Bay Area, Orchard Road, CBD and other parts of Singapore.

Margaret Ville offers a place of residence for modern minimalists, which are crafted perfectly by designers and developers, envisioned by SDB, which is finally built by the award-winning Carver Haggard of London. Presenting an art-deco heritage site through vertical flutes on a facade, along with arched detailing on the units’ balconies and a wide inset of curves at the podium, there is a lot of fine design all over Margaret Ville.

On Level 5’s sky terrace, there is an incredible 24-meter infinity pool provides, which is accompanied by seamless views that extend into Kallang River, which provides residents a sense of liberating space.

As a tribute to the heritage site, the building is designed with many colors and artworks, which adds to the presence of what once was before. It has been crafted by sculptor Dr Colin Okashimo, named ‘The Bottle Assembly.

The Site’s History

The name, Serangoon comes from the name “Ranggong”, referring to a bird that is most commonly located in the Riverine swamps which are around the Serangoon River. Back in the day, Serangoon was an area designated for logistics, along with warehousing business, primarily to gain easy access, along with a direct connection to the spectacular Kallang River, that used to be a very busy waterway designated for general goods and transport. The property also served as a home to the National Aerated Water Company, which was found in the year 1954, and is a building that used to manufactured soda drinks.

Currently, Serangoon is recognized as an established address, complete with convenient amenities for the community. This includes NEX Shopping Mall, very popular sports hubs, the newly renovated, refurbished Chomp-Chomp food center, Kallang Basin’s Swimming Complex, as well as renowned schools in the area, like St Andrews Junior, as well as Stamford American International School.
