San Francisco, Calif. (March 24, 2020) – Coldwell Banker Commercial represented ownership in the sale of 712-714 Montgomery Street in San Francisco. The property sold for $6 million. Steve Caravelli of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT was the listing broker on the property, and his son Kevin Caravelli was involved in the property’s marketing campaign.

“This irreplaceable commercial property is located in the heart of Jackson Square Historic District and offers excellent visibility of The Transamerica Pyramid, access to Columbia Avenue and only a few blocks from the Financial District, North Beach and Chinatown,” said Caravelli.

The three-level building was built in the mid 1800’s, and its history includes a jail as part of the city's infamous red-light district. The property consists of approximately 8,570 square feet, with the ground floor currently leased to the Barbarossa Lounge. The buyer intends to use the property as an art gallery, relocating from a nearby location.
