How to Sell a Home for More Money and in Less Time,” a book that presents actionable tips for anyone who desires to successfully sell real estate. Balun offers an insider look based on her decades-long career as a real estate agent, respected real estate coach, international housing consultant and award-winning journalist.

Balun officially launched her book, now available on Amazon, at a workshop held March 5 at the Coldwell Banker Realty office on 39 Olcott Sq. in Bernardsville. Titled “When It’s Time to Sell Your Parents’ Dated Home — the Relevant Truth,” Balun was joined by Jason Geary, vice president of mortgage lending with Guaranteed Rate Affinity, for a discussion on how to sell a dated home faster and for more money. Topics included cleaning, organizing and updating a home; staging; choosing an effective team of professionals to sell your home; appraisals; funding a renovation with a personal short-term loan; and home inspections.

In addition to helping sellers maximize the potential value of their homes, Balun wrote her book to help homeowners “learn how to make the selling process more enjoyable because life is stressful enough,” said Balun.
