7 Great Reasons To Move To North Idaho

Written by Posted On Friday, 14 June 2019 00:18

Finding the perfect place to live is never easy, especially since this country has so many available options. With that said, you should consider settling down in Idaho. This may seem like a random suggestion, but there are actually a number of reasons to add this to your list of possibilities. For those unfamiliar with the area, here are 7 reasons to leave wherever you are, buy some property and make this your new home.

1. Less Traffic

If you are used to cities that have traffic jams on every corner, moving to North Idaho will give you some serious relief. While it is not a ghost town or anything, it is not common to be stuck in traffic for hours while countless people honk their horns in frustration. You Can typically get from point A to Point B without too much hassle.

2. The North Idaho Real Estate Market Is Booming

The North Idaho Real Estate Market Is Booming and there are properties all over the area that need a new owner, so anyone who is looking for a home is in luck. All you need to do is get in touch with an agent and have them show you what the state of Idaho has to offer. There are so many available options that there is no way you will not find something you like.

3. The Breweries

Beer lovers can certainly think of this as a little slice of heaven. There are breweries all over and the number of available options is staggering. There is even an annual beer fest in Coeur d’Alene Idaho.

You can actually go out every night for months and have something different every time. There are also beer festivals held a few times a year in case visiting the brewhouses wasn't enough.

4. Sausage

You will probably find some of the best sausages you have ever had if you move to North Idaho. This is an area where people adore hunting, so it should not be surprising that loving meat comes with the territory. It is possible to find sausage made of all kinds of meat, including elk, buffalo, and duck.

5. Proximity To The City

While this is an area that is known for being laid back and quiet, you can get to busier areas in a short time. For instance, if you move to Coeur d'Alene, it is just a half hour away from Spokane, Washington. This means that you can live in a small town but have a big city at your fingertips.

6. The Quiet Setting

Everyone is not keen on the idea of living in a place that has a lot of hustle and bustle. With that said, this is the perfect option for people who want a place to relax and enjoy all that life has to offer. Most people's idea of a great time in North Idaho is hanging out at the lake or attending a festival. This is a far cry from being in a place where nightclubs and big city noise are the norms.

7. Affordability

There are places in the country where you have to work 80 hours a week in order to survive, but this is not one of them. The cost of living is pretty decent and you can raise a family there without feeling too much financial strain. It is possible to buy a home there without spending so much you end up struggling to make ends meet.

Before now, Idaho was probably nowhere near your list of places you would like to live, but that should change now. With affordable homes, a solid real estate market and a relaxed setting, it would be a mistake not to give this area some serious thought.
