Written by Posted On Monday, 09 September 2019 03:05

You won't be doing any selling if there's no one there to buy. Take a look at this real estate advertising guide to learn how to attract interested buyers.

Did you know that in 2018 there were over 1.3 million real estate agents in the US? With the economy booming, many are taking the opportunity to upgrade their housing or office location.

How can real estate agents benefit from the current boom? With smart advertising and clever real estate marketing techniques.

What are the secrets of real estate marketing? Check our in-depth guide below.

1. Social Media Campaigns

It may seem like a no brainer but the first step is to make sure that you are available on the channels that people use each day. This means a meaningful presence on major social media networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.

Instagram is especially beneficial options for the real estate industry since it is image-driven. Also, remember that different social media channels are used by different age groups.

Instagram is particularly popular amongst young people for example. Facebook has a broader appeal across the ages.

2. Add Social Media Sharing Options

Purchasing or renting a house is a large step for anyone. People will often want a second opinion from friends and relatives before making a final decision. Adding social media sharing buttons allow them to easily do this.

However, as they do this, they are actually providing you with free advertising. A slick website with easy to use sharing options can go viral and increase your customer base.

3. Watch the Competition

Every location has its unique selling points and features. While you research what you can use to attract traffic, don't forget to check what your competition is doing.

A real estate agency that is established for many years in your area may have experience that you can use to your benefit. Are they active on social media? If so what can you learn from them?

4. Help People Contact You

Companies usually compete on the basis of customer service. This means that if it is difficult to navigate your website, to learn more about properties or to contact you, you may be losing out.

You may boast that "we have attractive properties" or promise that "we buy any house", yet if customers struggle to contact you, you will not be successful.

Put all your contact information discreetly on each page of your site. Make it accessible on your social media channels. Let people know that you are one email, instant message or phone call away.

5. Memorable Business Cards

Business cards are shared every day. Make yours professional, yet memorable. Use color, materials and catchy tag-lines to make your business stand out from the rest.

People may decide not to do business with you if your business card is not attractive. Design a card you are proud of.
