Ask any entrepreneur what they need to make more sales, and no matter their profession, they will most likely say leads. But the reality is, you don’t need more leads! Just like referrals, they’re simply one part of your business and without a plan to convert those leads, you’re not going to see your sales increase. That’s right! What really counts is your conversion rate, which explains a great deal about the quality of the lead and the quality of the system used to convert that lead into a closed transaction.

If the answer is a resounding yes, you’re ready to list. If the answer is no, you’ll need to understand why it is a no and create a strategic plan of attack to create a yes. Realtors are often called upon to outline exactly what a seller may need to do to get their house ready to sell at top dollar. Do you know what to do to get your own house ready to list?

Even a child as young as two can feel the undercurrents of change happening in the house and the feelings of stress and anxiety that go along with it. Many parents think the best way to prepare a child for a move is to shield them from its impact and wait until the child is at daycare or school to go through their things, pack up what they want, donate or throw out the rest and be done with it. This is by far the worst way to handle it. I know, because this is what I did, and I paid dearly for it.
