Location, location, location! We’ve heard it countless times and it’s become a sort of cliché in the market. 

Aside from the fact that it’s clichéd, it can’t be truer. 

In the United States, consumers have the option of rent to own properties in prime locations.

You need to find your way around a tricky rental to buy it. But how do you do that? Read on.

References at the Ready

If you are a buyer, the first thing you should have is your list of references.

Have someone who can back you up when you claim to be a great tenant.

No one is better than your last landlord if they have your back, you’ve won half the battle. Your previous landlord can be your best friend or your worst enemy or side hustles.

Don’t wait

If you put that property off till the weekend it might be a bad idea because it might be gone by then.

Ask about previous tenants and about any repairs done in the past. Ask if those repairs were done by professionals.

Both tenants, as well as landlords, have to be honest and open as possible; at least play your part. They’ll end up in hot water if they’re at fault. If you try and conceal yourself from the seller, they’ll know something’s up and that’ll be the end of that.

You’d have lost the deal. So remember to be honest and open.

When you’re buying real estate in Sydney, you can search for the location that suits your needs within 5-7 taps or clicks. You can do it while reading the paper, having breakfast or on your work desk.
