One way to find a house with little competition is by checking out Austin new home developments. There are some pretty amazing single-family detached homes available that start under $300,000. Understand that with new homes, list prices are for the base level and don’t reflect the upgrades you may see in the model. Always ask what’s included and find out if landscaping is extra.
