What's The Big Deal About Tiny Houses? (Infographic and Video)

Tiny homes are my latest obsession.

The average American home is 2100 square feet.

The average tiny home is a mere 186 square feet.

I am constantly reorganizing, paring down, and defining my essentials. Knowing exactly what I have and where it is establishes mindful living. I’m better able to reuse, recycle, and repurpose. I'm more grateful for what I have and less attached to all the "stuff". Simplified living evolves my financial, environmental, and social consciousness.

Tiny living is conscious living. Stripping down to the most prioritized essentials are attracting people to join “The Tiny House Movement”. Tiny homes and simple living are challenging the traditional definition of what makes a house a home.

It’s not just me who’s American Dream is housed in 186 square feet.

Who are the people living big in tiny houses?
