A beverage range is a part of every household. But why is it so important to choose a beverage range hen we can be done and moving on with assorted mugs simply? To be honest, it’s a very personal call on whether you would want to have a formal beverage set for your serving beverages or your favorite zodiac mugs simply.

Ideally, a beverage ware should comprise of cup and saucers or mugs, teaspoons, tea bag holders, serving trays, tea pots, milk jars and sugar cube holders. However, the contents of a beverage set are mostly a personal preference and differs from individual to individual.

Much to our ignorance, our beverage ware does speak volumes about us. Imagine two scenarios: one, where you’ve visited a friend’s place and you have been served coffee in a fine bone china cup and saucer with gold linings and the second, where you have visited another friend’s place and you have been served coffee in a caricature mug.

Neither of the experiences is demeaning though. Each has its own charm. However, if you’re looking at a apt beverage set for your home, here are a few aspects that can govern your choices:

  • Materials: You could choose from fine bone china, porcelain, stoneware, glass and stainless steel. Each has its own charm. However, fine bone china can be the most expensive of them all.
  • Designs: Designs would include shapes, colors and prints. Opt for unusual shapes such as conical, square, triangle, etc. The choice of colors is a very personal aspect however, for a contemporary look mix muted shades with darker colors or prints of dark colors with muted shades. For instance if you have a white cup printed with black motive flowers, pair them up with black saucers and so on and so forth.
  • Patterns: Take a break from the traditional china ware with golden rims and opt for the patterns. You could team up patterned or engraved saucers with darker shades of cups and mugs for the ideal look.

How do you choose your beverage ware? Have suggestions o share? Post them below; we’d love to hear from you too.
