Mayer Dahan was born in Los Angeles, California after his parents, David and Ilana migrated to the United States from Israel. Experiencing first hand the struggle his family went through living in a foreign country, Mayer developed a deeply rooted motivation and determination to work hard, create opportunity, and ultimately change the world for the better.

After attending California State University, Northridge’s Business and Finance School, and acquiring his real estate license in 2003, Mayer began to oversee operations at the Los Angeles Property Company. Quickly promoted to head of operations, Mayer learned the ins and outs of the industry, recognizing what the residents of California want, as well as what their homes were lacking.

As a creative non-conformist and home development revolutionist, Mayer was promoted to the position of CEO of Prime Five Homes in 2010 — a full-service, real estate development company that specializes in the construction of modern, eco-friendly, sustainable homes. After also founding Dahan Properties in 2012, Mayer uses his companies not only as a way to build beautiful homes, but also as a way to raise public awareness about energy efficiency, the use of solar power, and the importance of quality materials. Through his various business ventures, Mayer has cultivated a reputation for excellent management skills, a strong work ethic, and a knack for placing himself at the forefront of innovation and design.

In both his professional and personal life, Mayer is a strong believer in karma and is always looking for opportunities to help and give back to the community. After the tragic death of a close friend in 2013, Mayer looked towards creating community bonds through joint charitable actions. In one of the most significant moments in his career, Mayer founded The Dream Builders Project (The DBP), a charity with one goal in mind, to give back. The DBP hosts various events throughout the year, including ‘Charity Flash Mobs’, influential formal galas, as well as many other philanthropic functions. The DBP has aided and raised awareness for a diverse range of causes, including child abuse care centers, orphanages, the homeless, and those affected by severe illness and disease.

A finalist in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s Annual Nonprofit and Corporate Citizenship Awards, and a contributor to several design and architecture publications, Mayer’s unique portfolio is an indication of his ability to be different, and is the reason for his success.
