Understanding Space is the key to creating something truly unique. Using Spatial Design methodology, my goal is to focus on engineering spaces to maximize their efficiencies. We often look to areas not normally used to create a larger feeling home. One area we love to work on is the California basement. Most often these are forgotten about rooms underneath the house being used for equipment such as HVAC, etc. With today's remodeling pace of older homes, it's easy to move the equipment to the roof or attic, and reclaim this space as a mediation room, wine room, or sitting room. It's really only limited to your imagination. So, next time you're looking for a small space in your home and can't find one, redefine how you view what you have already.
