Some are guard gated with clubhouse and amenities. Some are gated but do not have amenities. There are also Nassau County North Shore communities that are not gated, but have clubhouses and other amenities. So there are many different scenarios.
Some of the gated communities on Long Island's North Shore in Manhasset and North Hills are Estates I and II, Hamlet Estates, The Links, Stone Hill, Gracewood, Summit At High Point, The Fairways, Spruce Pond and Stratford Gate which are all gated communities.
Acorn Ponds, Imperial Gardens, Cricket Club, The Gates, Georgetown Commons, Duke of Gloucester and The Gates are also in this area, but are not gated communities.
All of the above communities are on Long Island’s famed North Shore in Nassau County New York between Exit 34 and Exit 36 of The Long Island Expressway. They are all within The School Districts of Herricks School District #9 and Manhasset School District #6.
