There are many benefits that come along with living in New Jersey. For one, its big brother New York is close enough that you can work there. Philadelphia isn’t a long drive away either. The small towns, classic diners, and pristine farmland give New Jersey a unique charm that continues to lure in more and more Americans looking to settle somewhere dependable.

Parents looking to raise their children in a safe and healthy environment will find New Jersey’s public schools to be some of the best out there, and the state’s high school graduation rates are among the highest in the country. If you are used to the hustle and bustle of city life, New Jersey state is not a bad place to be.

Here are the best places to live in the Garden State in 2019.

Ridgewood

Within Bergen County lies Ridgewood, a populous suburb compromising of mainly Victorian-era homes. The local architecture, while very pretty, doesn’t come without a hefty cost. Expect to pay north of half a million dollars for anything decent in the area.

The plus side to this is that Ridgewood has attracted some above-average people who have made an effort to ensure that the local infrastructure is also aboveaverage. Union

Much of this can be owed to North Arlington’s great infrastructure. All the charm of a small-town feel is still present, yet everything that you’d expect from a big city is still on offer. It lies very close to New York’s financial district, making it a thriving spot for businessmen to settle. Low crime rates and plenty of stadiums are the icing on the cake.
