The trolley carriage is an element of a garage door that is designed to pull the opener arm to lift the door up and down usually located above the door opening. These can wear out over time.
You can fix a defective trolley carriage by following these steps:
1. Pull the old trolley carriage off but make sure that you fasten the chain unto the rail.
2. Separate both sides of the chain from the trolley.
3. Disconnect the rail from the header, positioning the rail on the side.
4. Connect the new trolley on the belt drive.
5. Reattach the chain and make sure that you adjust it on the right tension.
