Why do we love Brentwood, Tennessee? During the 1800's to the early 1900's Brentwood was home to large tobacco plantations and known for its exceptional fox hunting. On March 25, 1863, Confederate Nathan Bedford Forest performed a quick sneak attack on Union Lt. Col. Edward Bloodgood who surrendered Brentwood later that same day. Tucked between Nashville and Franklin, Brentwood is an area that boasts some of the nicest and most expensive homes in Middle Tennessee . Home to about 40,000 residents, it's one of the wealthiest cities in America.
Being that Brentwood has some of the most amazing homes in the area, it should be no surprise that some very well know athletes, Eddie George, Keith Bullock, Mike Fisher, Kyle Vanden Bosh, Kerry Collins to name a few have take residence at some point in time in Brentwood. Not known for a music scene, Brentwood has been called home to a number of famous artists over the years. Brentwood is more about family than food. With more that ten public parks in the area, they have some of the best public walking and bike paths and promote some of the most well-maintained tennis, baseball and indoor/outdoor soccer fields(11 fields in all) around. The second largest Park in Brentwood, Crockett Park includes the Eddy Arnold Amphitheater which hosts the annual summer concert series free to the public.
