Is It Just Me?

Social media means many things to many people. I am a content provider, and I am sure there are many who disagree with my thoughts, observations, and strategies, but I find it interesting that there are so many people who post absolute LIES repeatedly, just to generate clicks and views. Now I know that many of these people are just looking to monetize their posts buy getting subscribers, views, and followers. But when people must post headlines or make statements as if it were facts and not opinion, they do a great disservice to everyone.

So, for those of you who are viewing and using social media, be careful as to how much weight you put behind the posts of other people you don’t know or have no prior experience with. Just like I am sure there must be at least one Prince out there looking to give away a fortune, please verify all the information and where it is coming from before believing anything you are using to make a business decision on. In our business, we are taught to verify everything before making a commitment, that should be the same for your belief system about the information you put out to the public.

I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and to enjoy the holiday with family and friends. We all need to pause and take the time to share with each other the gifts life has to offer, and the greatest gifts are love and our time!
