Nha Trang is well know as a top place city to retire in Asia because of cost of living, Vietnamese cuisine, almost constant sunny weather with reasonable temperature, beautiful beaches and resorts and all that other places where to go, how to spend your time. Cam Ranh airport is just 40 mins to the city and every year welcomes millions of visitors and this number is increasing year by year.
Real estate industry is aware of it. Last couple of years commercial companies have built up many frontbeach apartment complexes and the half of them are under construction right now.
However, you have still over a dozen of options to find short term rentals in Nha Trang matching your requirements.
At the center of the city, in the heart of tourist area is located a project called Muong Thanh Centre which is definitely popular one because of the location and close to the group “the luxury ones”. The monthly 2-bedroom rental is about $650-800.
Havana and The Costa Residence are that luxury ones projects located on the main beach boulevard. Who is looking for comfort, high quality this is the place to find it. What about to rent a house? Houses are not to much wanted by expats because a house is situated mostly at narrow streets, farther from the beach and that vietnamies style floor plan is not always suitable for them but still possible to find some for nice rental price $300/month at the center. The price is highly dependent on furniture and amenities.
But the villa is that what good-sized expat family looks for. There is a luxury villas area on the south of the city – 4km from center, nearby cable car entrance to popular resort Vinpearl. This area is secured 24/7 (as all the mentioned projects/apartment complexes above) and is found over hundreds of villas available for rent or sale. Wealthy Vietnamese from Hanoi invest their money right there and looking for long-term tenants. 3-bedroom villa rental is about $1500. This villas area has a beach which makes it much more attractive to live there.
In all the options, if you rent a property for 6 months or longer you get 10% discount and still don’t forget that in Vietnam you can negotiate almost everything, rentals included.
