New Braunfels List Of School Supplies And Where To Buy Them

  The school year 2015-2016 is fast approaching and it is time to write on a New Braunfels list of school supplies and where to buy them to get a jump-start on one of the busiest times of the year. Everytime summer ends, students and their parents are full of thoughts as to what they are going to need to buy and where is the best store to get these school needs before everyone rushes to school supplies stores. Of course, the first thing we need to know is when will the school year start? The Loding Group has listed the different schools in New Braunfels to make it easier for you in checking this out. New Braunfels Independent School District will begin classes for the school year 2015-2016 on August 24, 2015. Click the picture on the right to download the school year calendar. Pre-kinder registration for this school year will be on August 6, 2015 (Thursday), from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Registration areas will be on three locations: Lone Star Elementary (Cluster Site for Seele, Lamar, Carl Schurz and Lone Star), County Line Elementary (Cluster Site for Memorial, Walnut Springs and County Line), and Klein Road Elementary (Klein Road attendance zone). Remember, your child must be 4 years old by September 1, 2015 to be able to register. For the K-12 registration information, please click here to download. For returning NBISD students, parents are required to enroll their child for the 2015-2016 school year through their txConnect Parent Portal.  You can do this from any computer, anywhere, with Internet access. Online enrollment and verification starts on August 3, 2015, at 7:30 AM and ends on August 21, 2015, at 11:59 PM. Support and computer access are available at all campuses during these times and dates.

There are school supplies that will be needed depending on grade level and teacher expectations. A list of these supplies is available at the beginning of each year and is available on the school’s website. NBISD gives out  a recommended school supply list that gives suggestions on what students may need during the coming school year.

Elementary students start to build the foundation for the structure of their education at this time. It’s in elementary school that students learn to follow directions, share with friends, and understand the basics in academics.
