BUYERS, did you know that as a buyer it cost you nothing nada zero 
not a dime to have a Realtor work for you. That's RIGHT it is the only business I know of where the seller pays the cost to have your interest protected by a licensed professional who is working for you and only for you. See as real estate agents sellers agree to pay a commission to the agents that sell their home. We as agents share this commission with the agent that brings us a buyer. So you the buyer have on cost to work with a real estate agent.
Here are some things to think about when you pick an agent to work with:
- Do they listen to what you want?
- Do they know the market?
- Will they respond to your emails, calls and text quickly?
- Do they have a list of preferred vendors; like home inspectors, handypersons, landscapers, movers?
I could go on but you are smart and I know you get the idea. One last and very important point. YOU must commit to work with one agent. This means you have to be willing to sign an agreement with the agent you pick that lets them represent you and you agree that they will be the only agent representing you. If you expect quality service then you have to be able to commit to the one agent that is willing to give you that service.
