Do you want to live in La Costa, Carlsbad 92009?

Carlsbad Real Estate in 92009 is a huge market. This part of Carlsbad real estate offers a variety of unique Lifestyle choices in the various communities that I am going to outline for you. The real estate market has exploded in La Costa in the past 10 years. New home communities abound and there are more than a hand-full of great places to consider when looking in the million dollar price range in some of the newer communities that South Carlsbad Real Estate has to offer.

Most of the new home communities in La Costa, such as La Costa Oaks, La Costa Greens, & La Costa Valley all have a great community vibe, clubhouse with swimming pool, lots of natural trails built around and in the communities, and all consist of single family homes, with the exception of La Costa Greens at Avellano, which are newer townhouses.

La Costa Valley is one of the first master planned communities built in approx years 2000-2005. It's located in one of the better locations for the La Costas, butting up against Encinitas, off Leucadia( which becomes Rancho Santa Fe Road), El Camino Real, and Calle Barcelona runs in the middle of the community, which leads right to the La Costa Valley preschool, La Costa Valley Swim and Tennis Club, El Camino Creek Elementary School, which is right across from the cool hip (newer) CARLSBAD FORUM " A unique shopping experience". La Costa Valley is also close to Rancho Ponderosa in South Carlsbad and about 1.5 miles away from the Omin  La Costa Resort and Spa. Homes in La Costa Valley will range in the high 800-1.5 mill, averaging around 1.1  mill. Click here to search La Costa Valley Homes For Sale and my La Costa Valley Real Estate website where you can learn all there is to know about Living in La Costa Valley.

La Costa Greens and La Costa Oaks are very comparable neighborhoods, both with their own pros and cons which I'll share with you briefly.  First of all, they both have clubhouses, La Costa Oaks actually has two clubhouses/ swimming pools because La Costa Oaks is broken up into two sections, La Costa Oaks SOUTH ( the original neighborhood) and some of the most recently built homes, in La Costa Oaks North.  I love the homes in La Costa Oaks mainly because a lot of these homes offer great La Costa Ocean View Homes overlooking the breathtaking North County Coastline and Batiquitos Lagoon! La Costa Oaks is located right off Rancho Santa Fe Road and is in the eastern part of Carlsbad, which butts up agains 92078/ San Marcos/ Old Creek Ranch and San Elijo Hills, where I live.  Right there at the intersection of San Elijo Road and Rancho Santa Fe Road where La Costa Oask North begins, there is a mountainside and La Costa Oaks North sits along the backside of this hill, and the other side of the hill, to the west is a big canyon preserve where you will have unobstructed ocean views. This ridgeline is basically the cut off point that divides a different LIFESTYLE, 92078 living. This is right where there is a pretty big temperature change because La Costa Oaks is right where the marine layer ends so it will still get ocean breezes and a bit of marine layer, as where on the other side of the road in 92078 it gets HOT HOT HOT…

La Costa Greens runs along the La Costa Resort Golf Course, so the tempature is and location are nice compared to a few miles inland, where you'll find La Costa Oaks, and the gated luxury home community of La Costa Ridge.  Homes in La Costa Greens include access to The Presidio clubhouse  that has all the trimmings. La Costa Greens has lots of open common area space all over the community, including tennis courts, basket ball courts, tot lots and lots of green grass, AND it also is right across from the NEW ALGA NORTE COMMUNITY PARK that has literally everything for those summer days!  To find out more about Living in La Costa Greens, click here to visit my La Costa Greens Real Estate website.

La Costa Ridge is the last community I'm mentioning in todays post about LIVING IN LA COSTA'S PREMIER COMMUNITIES. La Costa Ridge is probalby one of the more exclusive communities in La Costa because it is guard gated, and sits up on one of the Highest Ridges in all of Carlsbad. Prices in La Costa Ridge will go from 1-2 mill. Homes on the west side of the community that have ocean views will start in the high 1 mills, like 1.5-17 and homes on the east side with eagerly views will range from 1-1.3 mill.  Click here for more info about La Costa Ridge Real Estate.
