Part of the "Space Coast," Cocoa Beach first came to national prominence as the setting for the television show "I Dream of Jeannie," and the area has done nothing but become more enchanting, say local Realtors.
"Watch rockets soar and shuttles lift off right in your back yard," says Realtor Wanda McMichael . "Cocoa Beach has everything to offer from small shops to great restaurants, but without the hassle of larger towns' traffic congestion and noise."
McMichael says, "Beachfront property has continued to rise, but still remains affordable for this area, especially oceanfront-view condos. Cocoa Beach also offers the Banana River as a scenic view. These properties tend to be more affordable than the oceanfront listings. Single-family homes situated between the Atlantic Ocean and the Banana River maintain their values just by being in Cocoa Beach."
Says Realtor Laura A. Balko , "Cocoa Beach is host to the sunshine, waves and relaxation. While Disney is the number one travel destination in the world, when it comes to beaches, the Cocoa Beach-Brevard County area is a great location for opportunity, as an investor or resident. The East Coast offers easy access to major roadways, schools, theme parks and employment, not to mention the sunshine and white sandy beaches! This coastline has something that appeals to every walk of life. Inland offers country, wide open spaces and lakes."
"Cocoa Beach is a great place to live if you like the beach and the intercoastal water ways," says Realtor Roger Austin Burleigh . "There are 44 single-family homes for sale ranging from $299,000 up to $3.4 Million. The ocean/riverfront properties are at the top of the market. A riverfront home starts in the $500's. Condominiums on the river start in the $300's. There are 200-plus condos and townhouses available in Cocoa Beach."
