Adjusting to the Settlement Agreement Rules

Written by Posted On Sunday, 12 May 2024 01:41

The new rules governing real estate agents will likely cause adjustments that agents will need to adapt to. In order to achieve success, buyer agents may need to become more creative or potentially transition towards a listing agent role.

Brokers need to rally their agents to create an environment that will benefit the entire office. This is not a new concept; however, breaking the industry's individual competitive nature can be challenging.

In partnership with Realty Times, Bring it Home Communities, Inc. has announced the launch of its new mobile and web-based broker application, Before They List®. This tool is designed to generate leads by providing information to potential homeowners who are considering placing their homes on the market, this information may encourage them to list.

In many instances, homeowners are misinformed or have no direct knowledge of real estate market conditions or, more importantly, their home's potential value. Agents within the office, as a whole, form an advisory group or, specifically, a group of local experts. Their combined community knowledge, experience, expertise, and actual data points, will provide homeowners with a comprehensive competitive market analysis.

In addition to data points, agents within the office may represent buyers with specific requirements that may match. There may be an opportunity to alert the homeowner of the potential opportunity to sell.

In addition to agent-to-consumer engagement, Realty Times is offering a promotional service to engage homeowners in targeted communities of the agent/broker's choosing.

Before You List® is a consumer-facing lead generation program marketed on social platforms like Facebook to initiate conversations with homeowners while they are engaged in their decision process and, more importantly, before they enter into a formal listing agreement with a competitor.

When utilizing the Before You List program, an office can determine its campaign budget and timeline. Staff would then create location-specific digital advertisements. Any exclusive leads are captured within the brokerage's customer relationship management system and followed up via email and text. This consumer-focused program is designed to synchronize with the Before They List® application within the office.

Don't let the new rules intimidate you. Embrace the challenge, and let Bring It Home Communities and Realty TImes help you navigate this new terrain with the Before They List and Before YOU List applications.

This is your opportunity to redefine the game. Don't miss it!
