It was just a matter of time before I started blogging about my favorite beach so here it is! This place is hopping with activity! Going to Siesta Key Beach can sometimes require a little planning. If you're going around a holiday or peak season be prepared to wait for parking. It's busy, it stays busy, and when you leave there's a good chance it will still be busy. But when you finally get a parking spot and make it down the wide beach to the water, you will quickly figure out why it's one of the top beaches in the world. The quartz sand is cool to the touch year around and it's almost like powder. Places like this are the very reason I left Nashville and came further down south. It has become one of the hottest destinations in Florida and now more and more people are deciding to call it home. As the Sarasota Real Estate and Siesta Key Real Estate markets continue to strengthen, us locals must remember to take care of our beaches for our new and returning visitors.
