With two major hurricanes striking Florida in less than a two week span this year, you may be asking yourself if Florida new construction homes are the better choice over older, more traditionally built homes in standing up to Mother Nature. It’s a question I’ve heard a lot recently from potential buyers who want to move to, or simply just stay in Florida, but also want a well-built, secure home to call their own.

It’s hard to miss the heartbreaking pictures and videos showing flooded and destroyed homes that emerge following a strong storm, but can opting for one of the Florida new construction homes for sale over an older home put you in a better position to weather Florida’s sometimes fierce and somewhat unpredictable weather situations?
