Housing in Westport, CT, continues to be a buyers market.
While inventory levels have increased, trends in the city are similar to 2006. This year has seen a slightly longer market time -- 105 compared to 92 -- and only 10 more sales than last year. With homes still moving off the market, sellers should be happy!
Notes one local expert, "Although the prices are not as "rock bottom" as they had been those last few months of 2006, the pricing seems to have leveled off and sellers that held on to properties through the rough times might be happy they did."
The average sales price is around $1,100,000.
