PLEASANTON, CA – December 8, 2025 – Tis the season for slower real estate markets in the East Bay.
According to the latest East Bay Real Estate Weather Report from the Bay East Association of REALTORS®, the number of homes for sale declined from recent months yet remained significantly higher than November 2024 and 2023. More supply helped bring prices down compared with last November, while the number of homes sold remained essentially the same as a year ago.

The number of homes for sale fell during November compared with recent months, consistent with typical seasonal slowing. However, buyers still had considerably more choices than they did in November of both 2024 and 2023.

Increased supply contributed to lower prices across much of the region compared with last November.

While buyers had more choices, home sales were virtually unchanged compared with November 2024.
