Make your 2015 Christmas season shine bright this year! Snohomish County has always been very festive during the Christmas Holiday season, there are so many neighborhoods and businesses that go all out with decorations and Christmas lights. There is everything from inflatable snowmen and snow globes to homemade nativity scenes with baby Jesus, from Santa and his reindeer on rooftops to Seahawks themed houses, there are decorations that everyone is sure to enjoy. There are even houses that the lights dance to music on a certain radio station. Many people have the tradition to gather up the whole family, jump into a car and drive around at night in different neighborhoods to see all the amazing lights. The Diemert Properties Group created a list of the best places to see Christmas lights in Snohomish County and near Snohomish County. Every single one of these locations is worth the visit! The best part is that all of these places are little to no cost to see the lights! They are fun places to visit with your family or even make a date night out of it! 1. The Lights of Christmas in Warm Beach

What: Enjoy the largest holiday event in the great Pacific Northwest! At the lights of Christmas in Warm Beach, there are over 15 acres of Christmas lights and activities to enjoy. This is one of our personal favorite places to see Christmas lights every year! They sell food and drinks. This year the Lights of Christmas is bringing back Enchanting Events Festival with princesses, pixies, and heroes this year! Meet & Greets with the characters are by donation only. December 4th is the Ice Princess, December 5th is the Ice Queen, December 11th is Cinderella, December 18th is the Forces, December 19th is Tinkerbell, and December 27th is the Scotish Princess. All of these characters are there from 6 pm to 8 pm. Where: 20800 Marine Drive Stanwood, WA 98292 When: 5-10pm December 4th-27th Cost: $9-$15

   

2. Marysville Tour of Lights

What: Every Holiday Season, Marysville’s Cedar Crest Golf Course transforms into a winter wonderland with beautiful light displays. Ride through the golf course in a Rotary train or a hay ride and enjoy all of the Christmas displays. You can also enjoy these lights by driving along the gold course on 67th, Grove Street, and Getchell. You can also enjoy dinner at their restaurant before or after your light tour. They accept reservations for dinner. Where: Marysville, WA Cedar Crest Golf Course When: 6:00 to 9:00 pm December 11th – 27th Cost: Free – Suggested Donation $5

3. Bothell Spectacular Lights

What: The Bothell Country Village has Christmas light displays and fun activities for kids and adults. You can do some Christmas shopping while taking in the sight of all the beautiful lights. Santa's arrival is December 5th 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. There is live reindeer, a caroling choir, a gingerbread house display, surprise visit from the Grinch who stole Christmas, and 40 shops all decorated in twinkling lights! You can also get Santa photos at Santa's workshop. If the weather is good they offer train rides and pony rides. The Country Village is a holiday wonderland for all ages! Where: Bothell Country Village 23718 Bothell Everett Hwy Bothell, WA When: December 1st – 31st Cost: Mostly Free, some activities may cost a small amount of money.

   

4. Snohomish Free Style Lights Cruise

What: Bring your decorated car, truck, ATV or 2 wheelers to Historic Downtown Snohomish for a parade of lights! The more lights on your vehicle the better! Be prepared for a few loud honks as they parade down 1st Street. All of the shops along 1st will be open and can serve you a hot toddy, hot chocolate or even a hot coffee to keep you warm! The parade goes along  First Street, Avenue D, 2nd Street and Union Avenue. If you want to participate just show up and hop in the parade, it is just a freestyle parade!Where: 1st Street in Downtown Snohomish, WA 98290 When: December 19th 5:45 to 7:00 pm. Cost: Free

   

5. Evergreen Church in Bothell

What: Enjoy a Christmas lights show, music, candy canes, free hot cocoa & a free train ride all at the Evergreen Church in Bothell! They have over 100,000 dancing lights to music. This is a must see this Christmas season! Where: 3429 240th St. SE Bothell, WA 98021 When: Starts November 27th and goes on every night in December starting at 5 pm until 10 pm. Cost: Free

6. Fir Grove, a neighborhood in Everett

What: It’s a whole neighborhood event! Many residents in the South Everett neighborhood Fir Grove put up a ton of great Christmas lights and decorations. They even have Santa passing out candy canes and taking donations for Salvation Army! This is a fun place to take your friends and family on a little Christmas drive. Where: 104th St SE and 21st Ave SE Everett, WA 98208 (Near Silver Lake Costco) When:Every night in December Cost: Free – Takes donations for Salvation Army.

   

7. Woodinville Wonderland

What: A beautiful house with TONS of Christmas lights that are choreographed to music. They have been featured in the Puget Sound Business Journal, Kiro News, and the Woodinville Weekly. They are collecting donations and 100% of the proceeds will go to the Special Olympics of Washington and the Northshore Wranglers. 2015 will be their 9th year of collecting for these two great charities! Last year, 2014, they collected $6,265! Let's help them DOUBLE that this year! Where: 23620 NE 183rd StWoodinville, WA When: December 1st – January 1st 5:00 to 9:00 pm Cost: Free / Donations are accepted for two great causes.

   

8. Holiday Lights in Marysville

What: Marysville home with Christmas lights syndicated with music that is broadcasted on 101.9. They accept food donations for the food bank. They have decorated their house for many years and is a tradition for many families to drive by and see the awesome show. They love to decorate and share it with the community. Now most houses in the cul-de-sac also decorate for Christmas too! They were featured on King 5 News. Where: 7513 72nd Dr. NE Marysville, WA 98270 to the right of Grove Street.When: Every night in December Cost: Free – accepts food donations for local food bank.
