The Rose & Dean Sklar Team, a top-producing residential real estate team with Coldwell Banker Realty’s Weston, Florida office, hosted its 6th Annual Cookie Exchange. This year, the event served a dual purpose – to exchange delicious cookies and to support a noble cause, collecting toys for children at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
The Cookie Exchange/toy donation drive took place Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 2-5 pm at Akai Estates, a new home community in Southwest Ranches, Fla. A family-oriented event, festivities included a Santa meet and greet from 2-3 pm, a visit with Elsa from Frozen during the 3 pm hour, and an arts and crafts station. There was even a surprise visit from “The Grinch.”
The annual event embodies the spirit of giving, sharing and contributing back to the community during the holiday season. Each participant was encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy to donate to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, to help make sure no child feels left out during the holidays.
According to the Rose & Dean Sklar Team, this exchange was more than just a gathering; it's a platform for coming together as a community, sharing in the warmth of the season while making a significant difference in the lives of others. In all, more than $1,200 worth of toys were collected for Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida.
