Ways to Increase Traffic to Your Blog

Introduction

When it comes to blogs, top reputation management companies know that simply having a blog can garner you up to 95% more inbound links. And here you were considering not blogging anymore. Not so fast! You are going to want to take a look at some strategies that will boost your traffic even more with these proven strategies.

Don’t Kill, Resuscitate

It is hard to see the return on investment (ROI) of a blog in the way of dollars and cents. However, you have to look at the bigger picture. You may not directly be able to link an increase in revenue to writing a blog, but it is happening in other ways. The more material that you have on your website, the longer a person will stay on your website. This means that you will be viewed as an authority by search engine results pages (SERPs). You will also have the added benefit of having a ton of content that the SERPs see as change. When they see websites like this, they naturally want to suggest these pages to people searching for your information. So, don’t kill your blog just yet. Make some of the following changes and you can resuscitate your blog and drive more revenue to your company.

Write a Book

Wait a minute, you just said that you wanted us to write a blog, not a book! Yep, we want you to write a book. It doesn’t have to be a long book, but it has to be a book. Think of making less than 100 pages. You can include a lot of content that you already have (reworked of course) and drive more traffic to your site. The reason you can do this is through a popular reading app called Kindle (also a brand of tablet). When you publish a book with Kindle, you have the added benefit of utilizing their premium program for 90 days. Use those 90 days to advertise your book across multiple platforms and watch your traffic grow.

Create Viral Content

This is far easier said than done. In fact, most companies that try it, fail miserably. The reason is that they are not investing enough time to research the sites that are creating that viral content. If they were, they could mimic that content for their industry, and they would be creating viral content regularly. As the saying goes, “don’t try to reinvent the wheel.”

Long-Tail Keywords

Customers are becoming savvier and will no longer type the shortest possible amount of words to get their result. They will type “how can I increase my weight loss” instead of “weight loss increase.” You need to dominate that market when it comes to your industry.

Conclusion

At the end of the day, top reputation management companies know that it is the little things that will get you increased traffic. So, make sure you are doing the little things right and the big things will take care of themselves.
