Huntington Beach is a wonderful community for developing children not only because of its great schools but also because of the numerous public libraries. There is a Banning Branch, Helen Murphy Branch, Main Street Branch, Oak View Branch and of course the most diverse and popular Central Library. The Huntington Beach Central Library is nestled in the beautiful Huntington Beach Central Park and is so much more than just a quite place to read. The library itself includes a community theater, genealogy collection, café, art gallery, meeting rooms, study areas and interactive children’s section. Another reason to love the Huntington Beach Library is the fact that the entire facility is solar powered! The parking lot has car ports to protect your car from the sun and double as solar panels used to provide green power for the library and all its facilities.

And don’t forget, there’s still the 350 acres of the Central Park to explore!  It’s a great place for the whole family to spend the day out and about in the beautiful Southern California sun. Seventy something weather and a cooling coastal breeze nearly all year long is reason enough to fall in love with Huntington Beach. You can even bring the dog along for some fun and exercise, there’s a dog park on the grounds and plenty of room to roam and play.
