How to plan the arrangement of your new place

Check out these easy and not so easy tasks that you can come across during the arrangement of your new place. It comes to a few important after moving house tips and tricks, which range from the unloading of the removal van to the wiping off dust.

Tip 1: Make yourself a floor sketching of the new house and highlight the exact places where you want to unload the big heavy boxes. This is an especially useful advice for the first moments after the furniture removals with big, heavy or one-piece furnishings. Give that sketching to the moving crew so they can unload these yet difficult to handle objects near the places where they should be, and thus making the further activities much easier for yourself.

Tip 2: Get only the objects that you are sure that you will use. Get rid of the useless objects in advance, for example - during the de-cluttering and the preparation of your belongings, several weeks before the move. One you will reduce the volume of your possessions and they can easily fit in a smaller van and two - there will be not that much troubles when arranging or when moving the big heavy objects within the new house.

Tip 3: Sketch or plan the interior design of your new house in advance, for example also several weeks before the move. This will give you plenty of time to choose the best spots of the old furnishings in the new house, as well as what will need moving at all and which furnishings you will have to buy. Making a sketching of the imaginary layout of the objects in the new house is a very essential step. Take your free time and update the sketching until the moving day itself.

Tip 4: Prepare yourself for a long and complex unloading of the moving van, because as soon as you arrive in front of the new house - the same journey begins but only in a new place. It comes to a journey, which is even more overwhelming when doing everything by yourself. If this is your case - get yourself handling straps, which will help handle bigger and heavier objects. Prepare gliding blankets as well, which provide the easiest way to move big heavy furnishings without the risk of scratching the floor or damaging the furniture. Gloves for heavy lifting is another great hint and make sure to supply your helpers with gloves too.

Tip 5: Inspect the route to the front door of the new house. Check out for any imperfections of the terrain, such as bumps, dirt, branches and leaves. Note the steepness of the stairs if any, the width of the route to the front door, the width and height of the front door itself, or just check out everything. Ensure a flawless and impeccable access to your new home.

Tip 6: Open the boxes with accessories and objects for the kid`s room and for sleeping. On the next morning, continue with unboxing the biggest and heaviest items first. Arrange them on their places and adjust them via the help of the gliding blankets. There will be much more free space for arranging the smaller and lighter objects later.

Tip 7: Clean all the dirt and blemishes after the relocation. Return the empty bags and removal boxes to the removal company or dispose them for recycling. Do some final cleaning and polishing and clean the windows. Of course - don`t forget to wipe off dust and to enjoy the new home atmosphere.
