Real Estate Of Country Music Legends

When people think of country music stars they think of their inspiring lyrics and great voice. Becoming a country music legend is very difficult and takes many years of hard work. This hard work does come with rewards though as some of the most beautiful ranches, homes, and villas are owned by these stars. The following are some of the most luxurious and expensive places that country music stars live.

George Strait

George Strait has a ranch that is estimated at 800 acres by some. When George was asked about how large it was he responded that it was more than 40 acres. George’s ranch is located just outside of San Antonio. The ranch is predominantly used so George can hunt, fish, ride horses, and farm a small amount. With a net worth of $300 million the cost of the ranch could be astronomical.

While George Strait made the bulk of his money from his music, now that he’s essentially retired (from touring at least) he’s continuing his brand licensing agreement with original cowboy boot maker Justin Boots. Justin boots have been making the George Straight Line of Justin boots for more than 20 years now, he’s been quoted as saying “I’ve always been a fan of Justin Boots and have worn them in every aspect of my life,” Being such a fan of them for long, he has a very extensive boot collection at his ranch.

Brad Paisley

Brad and his wife Kimberly bought a home in California that is worth close to 3 million dollars. It has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths and looks very vintage. The home has some stained glass windows but the vintage look doesn’t make it to the updated kitchen. There is a trellised stone terrace in the back and it has vines covering it. This home is not their only home over a million dollars as they have one in Nashville that is worth $1.35 million.

Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift recently bought a $3.5 million house in Beverly Hills. The real estate in the area is extremely expensive and she bought a cozy 4 bedroom and 3 bath home. This is a quaint home but Taylor owns at least 5 multi million dollar homes. Taylor owns a penthouse in New York City that is reported to be worth close to $20 million. With Taylor’s record sales booming having these homes is pocket change. There has even been a list ranking her top 4 homes that she owns.

Johnny Cash

Johnny Cash’s old home was last listed at $595,000 but since has been taken off of the market. This home is on a lake in Henderson, Tennessee and was the place where Cash spent most of his time.  Johnny as he aged moved to a ranch across the street once the lake home became increasingly difficult to navigate in his old age.

Gary Allan

This home located in Henderson, Tennessee is the most modest on this list. The house was only 1400 square feet and recently sold for around $150,000. This is quite a low price considering some of the other homes on this list. Gary is said to like having a simple home and thinks having too big of a home would be a hassle.

As you can see it pays to hit it big in the country music industry. Keep in mind that many of these people worked very hard and coupled with talent they became successful. Some star choose to love very quietly and modestly, while others, usually the newer mega country stars enjoy sprawling mansions. The one constant is that many country music stars like to have ranches so they can live out what they are singing in their songs. Who is the biggest surprise on this list?
